The 17th HUNT is coming the weekend of December 6th, 2008

In the absence of anything else, perhaps this will replace the HUNT website (preserved for antiquity here: http://www.geocities.com/theranchinwesttexas/thehunt). All you rodents have to do is click on the “comments” just below. You can create a BLOG identity, or sign in as “anonymous” and sign somewhere in the text. Is this better than the HUNT website? Probably not – is it better than the traditional HUNT email circle? I suppose we’ll see.

Consider this the jumping off point of the 17th HUNT. Whether any of this ga internet stuff works or not, Uncle Buck will see y’all there Friday afternoon.

To know the true nature of the HUNT you just need to be there. A weak substitute for the direct experience of the HUNT is this experimental HUNT BLOG. Here the men of the HUNT might pass on HUNT lore and wisdom in their own words, and past HUNTS could be recorded for the ages.

Study this site with care and, if you are worthy, the light of Minqueism, PALSY and TERCABOTHSAMMOOSRA will shine upon you for the first time and the essence of the HUNT may be partially revealed to you. Beyond these things, the HUNT might best be described by the things it is NOT:
